Luxury jeweller RABAT takes over what was the oldest shop in Serrano
The premises of what was the oldest shop on Madrid’s golden mile, Matarranz, will now be occupied by the luxury jewellery and watch firm RABAT.
The firm already has a shop at Serrano 26, dedicated to the sale of jewellery. The new premises at number 30 will be aimed at the watch brands with which the Catalan company works. The unit were acquired in 2019 by the Real Estate Fund BMO, owned by the Bank of Montreal. The fund then paid 20 million euros, in an operation advised by ASCANA, a consultancy firm that has also managed the new lease of this asset.
