ASCANA IN LA VANGUARDIA, “BRANDSHIPS”: A NEW COMMERCIAL FORMAT IN COMMERCIAL HUBS “PRIME”
The big brands are evolving the concept of flagships towards brandships, establishments that want to be icons of the brand independently of their profitability. In the prime commercial hubs of the main cities such as Barcelona, there is a commercial uniformity derived from three types of concentrations. The sectorial concentration in Barcelona reflects that more than 85% of the new implementations in the last three years in Paseo de Gràcia and Portal de l’Àngel are specialized establishments in fashion (clothing, footwear, jewelry and optics), according to data from ASCANA.
